Claire Boon has her very own take on graphic design. Inspired by music and fascinated by chaos, her work shimmers with personality – and very successfully so.
Claire Boon
Even though she is just 22 years old and still in the process of completing her degree in communication design, Claire Boon has already attracted quite a lot of attention. With her work, which is as personal as it is wild, and always strongly inspired by music.
And with a style that doesn’t follow trends, but is unwaveringly based on her own experience. It is as refreshing as it is encouraging to see someone simply going their own way and building a career so early on. In her free time she designs band posters and small fashion campaigns for clients who mostly find her via Instagram. And the rest of the time she explores her own projects via Illustrator and Photoshop.
Claire Boon has already had an amazing career. This includes winning the Vogue Talent Prize with her campaign for the fashion house Charles & Keith.
We spoke to Claire Boon about soundscapes and the cathartic effect of graphic design — and how interesting AI is for her.
