Start Schon als Schüler war ich intensiv damit beschäftigt, meine Bücher neuzugestalten. Geboren in Berlin, bin ich in Kreuzberg unter dem Dach der beiden Medienkünstler Gusztav Hámos und Katja Pratschke aufgewachsen. Solange ich denken kann, gaben mir meine Eltern die Freiheit, mich kreativ zu entfalten. Noch in der Schule gründete ich mit drei Freunden aus der Nachbarschaft das Künstlerkollektiv »Solit«. Ich entwarf das Logo, Mode, Aufkleber und unsere Social-Media-Präsenz. 2018 stolperte ich über Tape als Medium und beschloss, mich weiter auf meine Tape-Kunstwerke zu konzentrieren. Ich begann mit verschiedenen anderen Künstlern zusammenzuarbeiten, führte als freier Künstler Kunstprojekte durch und arbeitete dabei mit Marken wie Adidas, Samsung oder Audi. Während dieser Zeit wuchs meine Begeisterung für Tape Art und die unendlichen Möglichkeiten dieses Mediums weiter. Seitdem habe ich in verschiedenen europäischen Ländern sowie in Japan, Taiwan und China Installationen und andere Artworks geschaffen.

Stil Ich arbeite mit Klebeband und anderen klebenden Materialien. Durch Klebeband mit dem gegebenen Raum zu interagieren und neue Raumerlebnisse zu schaffen, das fasziniert mich. Ich experimentiere mit dem Medium Klebeband und hinterfrage dessen Grundprinzipien: Durch Schnitte und Auslassungen löse ich gerade Linien auf, integriere Kreisformen, lasse Lücken, durch die die Materialität der Oberfläche als weitere Ebene sichtbar wird. Durch farbliche Überschneidungen und Veratzstücke entstehen Verläufe, die je nach Standpunkt des Betrachters die Linien bei der Betrachtung zersetzen. Mein Ausgangspunkt sind oft Strukturen und Raster, in die ich sehr detailliert hinein- und herauszoome: urbane Netzwerke, Bildelemente wie Pixel, miteinander verbundene Nervensysteme. Ich arbeite oft intuitiv und ohne Vorlage. Meine Kunstwerke und Installationen entstehen organisch. Ich bin fasziniert davon, während des kreativen Prozesses Entscheidungen zu treffen, die das künstlerische Ergebnis beeinflussen.

Lieblingsmotive Die meisten meiner Kunstwerke sind abstrakt. Ich liebe es, farbenfrohe Kunst mit starken Kontrasten zu machen. Ich arbeite mit einfachem Gaffer Tape, Folien und allem anderen, was an einer Wand klebt.
Durch ein Kunststipendium in Tokio und Ushimado habe ich eine Patenschaft mit dem japanischen Klebebandhersteller mt masking tape bekommen. Sie produzieren spezielle Klebebänder, die aus Washi-Papier hergestellt werden. Was ich an der Arbeit mit diesen Tapes liebe ist, dass sie eine super breite Farbpalette haben und, weil das Material leicht transparent ist, kann man durch Übereinanderlegen noch mehr neue Farben mischen.

Inspiration Von klein auf war ich fasziniert von meiner alltäglichen urbanen Umgebung, von Maschinen und
Architektur. Ein großer Teil meiner Inspiration kommt aus der Op-Art, digitalen Bildelementen und Street Art.Ein paar Künstler, die einen großen Einfluss auf mich hatten, sind Victor Vasarely, Yayoi Kusama, Felipe Pantone, Heinz Edelmann, Niki de Saint Phalle, Demsky J.

Start I already worked intensively in my school days to redesign my school books. Born in Berlin, I grew up in Kreuzberg under the umbrella of the two media artists Gusztav
Hámos and Katja Pratschke. As long as I can remember, my parents gave me the freedom to develop myself creatively. At the same time at school, me and 3 other friends from my neighborhood founded the group »Solit« – an artist collective. I designed the group logo, fashion, stickers and our social media presence. In 2018 I stumbled upon tape as a medium and decided to focus further on my tape artworks. I started collaborating with various other artists and conducted art projects as a free artist working with various brands like Adidas, Samsung and Audi. During this time my enthusiasm for tape art and the endless possibilities of this medium grew further. Since then I created artworks and installations in various European countries as well as in Japan, Taiwan and China.

Style I am an artist working with tape and other adhesive materials. To develop new room experiences through tape and interact with the given space is what fascinate me. I create unique artistic concepts in order to reshape interior and exterior spaces.
In my artistic approach I experiment with the medium tape and question its basic principles: through cuts and omissions, I dissolve straight lines, integrate circular shapes, leave gaps through which the materiality of the surface becomes visible as a further level. Color overlaps and offsets create gradients that, depending on the position of the spectator, decompose the lines when viewed. My point of departure are often structures and grids into which I zoom in and out with great detail: urban networks, image elements such as pixels, nervous systems connecting with each other. I often work intuitively and without a template. My artworks and installations are created organically. I am fascinated by making decisions during the creative process that influence my artistic outcome.

Favourite motifs Most of my art is abstract. I love to do colorful art with strong contrasts. I work with basic gaffer tape, foils and anything else that sticks to a wall.
Throught an artist in residence in Tokyo and Ushimado I’ve got a sponsorship with the japanese tape manufacturer mt masking tape. They produce special tapes that are made out of Washi paper. What I love about working with mt Tapes is that they have a super wide range of colors and because the material is slightly transparent you can mix even more new colors by overlapping them.

Inspiration From an early age on I was fascinated by my daily urban environment, machines and
architecture. A big part of my inspiration comes from Op Art, digital picture elements and Street ArtA few artists that had a big impact on me are Victor Vasarely, Yayoi Kusama, Felipe Pantone, Heinz Edelmann, Niki de Saint Phalle, Demsky J.
