Pineaplle Fruitloop
Pineapple Fruitloop
“Pineapple Fruitloop” is an imaginative story set in a vividly designed universe. It follows the journey of Karl, a snail from the Andromeda galaxy, who makes an unexpected stopover in our solar system. Due to a meteorite warning, Karl is forced to seek refuge on Mercury. There he encounters a bar where he has to make completely new experiences, for example with gravity and beer brewing. The large-format book consists of almost 70 full-page illustrations. Objects were built and collected for this purpose, then translated into digital form with the help of 3D scanning, forming the essence of the idiosyncratic style. These objects are a collection of existing toys, collected and borrowed objects or even self-made objects, e.g. from wood or plasticine. They are carefully arranged to create the setting in which Karl‘s story unfolds. With this project I want to bring a whimsical and friendly dystopian story to life, combining innovative 3D scanning techniques with classic craftsmanship to create a unique visual experience.
