Start Ich bin ein Selbstlerner, an einem Punkt habe ich aus Spaß einfach angefangen zu zeichnen, collagen gemacht und nach der Schule dicke Notizbücher vollgekritzelt und dabei in meinem Zimmer Lali Puna gehört. Etwas später habe ich dann angefangen mit den tollen Leuten von Duckie Deck zusammenzuarbeiten, einem polnischen iOS Studio das Apps für Kinder entwickelt. Dass ich viel Zeit damit verbracht habe, für junge Leute zu gestalten, hat meinen Stil sicherlich beeinflusst und das »leichte und lustige« darin geprägt.
Stil Ich bin mir sicher, dass jeder, der auf meine Arbeiten schaut meinen Stil anders beschreiben würde, aber wenn ich das selbst tun soll würde ich sagen: einfach, geradlinig und expressiv. Meine Illustrationen basieren auf Linien und diese sind es, die alles an ihrem Platz halten, dann sind da noch die Farben und Strukturen, die meist leuchtend aber subtil auf nur wenige Farben reduziert sind. Ich stehe auf alle Arten körniger Texturen, aber vor allem versuche ich alles so simpel und grafisch wie möglich zu halten.
Lieblingsmotive Brüste, Brüste, Hintern, kurven, und oh …. hab ich Brüste gesagt? Na ja, ich weiß nicht, ob ich stolz darauf sein sollte, aber in meiner Arbeit findet man eine Menge nackter Mädels.
Technik Ich fange mit ganz einfachen und elementaren Skizzen an, wechsle dann zu Illustrator und ändere das ganze Konzept dann häufig noch mal. Am Ende arbeite ich in Photoshop, füge die Texturen hinzu, die Körnigkeit, spiele mit den Farben, et voilà!
Inspiration Also, diese Frage mag ich eigentlich nicht, denn meistens wirken meine Antworten entweder zu prätentiös oder zu banal. Aber … ich scroll mich täglich durch eine Menge schöner Arbeiten, ich blättere in meinen Lieblingsbüchern, suche überall nach perfekten Farbmustern, höre mir den ganzen Tag alte Melodien oder Pop-Juwelen an … ich glaube, das ist, wie ich meine Inspiration auf einem vernünftigen und stabilen Level halte.

Start I’m a self-learner, at some point I just started drawing for fun, making collages and doodling in thick notebooks after school, listening to Lali Puna in my room. After some time I started working with great people from Duckie Deck, Polish iOS Studio that creates apps for kids. I spent a lot of time creating for youngsters which I think influenced my style and left this »light and funny« element in it.
Style I’m pretty sure everyone would look at my work and describe my style differently but if you ask me I would answer like this: simple, linear and expressive. My illustrations are based on lines and this is what keeps everything in place, then there are colors and textures, mostly bright but subtle with palette narrowed to only few colors. I’m a sucker for all kind of grainy textures but most of all I’m just trying to keep everything as simple and graphic as possible.
Favourite motifs boobs, boobs, butts, curves, boobs, butt, curves and oh.. did I say boobs? Well, not sure if I should be proud of it but you can find a lot of naked girls in my work.
Technique I start with very simple and basic sketches then I work with Illustrator and really often change the whole concept at this point. I finish in Photoshop by adding textures, grains and playing with colors, et voilà!
Inspiration Well, I don’t really like this question cause I usually end up with answers that are either pretentious or trivial, but… I scroll through a lot of beautiful work everyday, I flip pages of my favourites books, I seek for perfect color schemes everywhere, I listen to the old tunes as well as pop gems the whole day… and I think this is how I keep my inspiration on decent and stable level.
