The publication “Learning/Unlearning from Bauhaus” documents students’ works created within the first semester typography class supervised by Andrea Tinnes and Pierre Pané-Farré at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle (Germany) in 2018/2019. “Learning/Unlearning from Bauhaus” on the one hand gives an insight into the different typographic and type-based assignments. On the other hand, it shows the resulting works of the students and puts them together through an experimental printing process to create new constellations and surprising chance encounters.
The publication was realized in close cooperation with the print workshop of the institution.
