I’m Chiara, I come from the heart of the Ruhr area and studied communication design. But I see myself more as an artist and illustrator.
Applied art is not really my thing.
As free as I’m as a type of person, I am also in my work. I work in analogue and digital and prefer to paint small creatures that move in a surreal of colors and shapes.
Maybe because as a kid I kept having the same nightmare of finding myself in a void full of structures and shapes.
I get inspiration for my illustrations from everyday life, my absolute “catastrophic thinker syndrome” and my slight penchant for melodramatics.
