Programm 19. – 22. Mai 2011
THURSDAY 19. MAY 2011 13 – 19h Works on view
FRIDAY, 20. MAY 2011
13 – 19h Works on view
19.30h Amy Sillman and Sadie Benning Unfamiliar drawing experiment #1 Live Drawing
A live drawing experiment, constructed in honor of the scene in Victory over the Sun in which the telephone operator is informed of the sun’s demise. In this version, the “audience” will direct “the artist” to draw (some- thing!? it is up to the audience to say!). The drawings (made in charcoal, paper and-or iPhone) are made on the spot, and will be followed thereafter by a short film which will then be constructed from the drawings, and which will then be shown to the very audience who directed it.
(The evening will be in English)

21h We didn’t obey the fathers, and we are not like them Installation by Mareike Bernien, Kerstin Schroedinger, Wibke Tjarks, Nina Istok Music live performance by tschilp
We are working collectively, discussing questions of actualisation and dynamics of the object in regard to materialities and anti-bourgeois impacts in pre-soviet futurist movement. We are interested in Cubo-Futurist image production and the materialist new definition of language, when objects became agents and artists became producers. For this work we will build a Camera Obscura, which produces an image, upside down, of a stage. On stage are several recording devices and loop machines that will get activated and arranged in a music piece by tschilp.
(tschilp does not speak)
