Designer

Katharina „Maya“ Mair is an Italian freelance graphic designer and lettering artist. In 2017 she founded KMDC Studio, a Vienna-based multidisciplinary design company specialized on graphic design, lettering, brand development, editorial design as well as user interface design. In the early years of her career she discovered a strong passion for typography and lettering and ever since worked on her skills to develop new ways to bring the written word to life. Playful ligatures, flowing curves and harmonious color concepts unite individual words into a unified whole and form the foundation of her artistic work. Since 2018 Maya is a Member of the creative collective John Ross Group Vienna.
